Thread: Hi Guys

    Default Hi Guys

First off I would like to apologize for not being very active on this site and then explain.

As you know I had problems with my shoulder late last year which prevented me from playing this great game. So I had to turn to other gaming avenues that I could do, i.e. PC. I just wish I had the resolve of Tim ( NO SAILS !!! ).

You have heard this saying before, I dipped my toe in the water and fell in, well I didn't just fall in, I went scuba diving! At the moment I'm playing P3D Flight Sim (Flying for Alaska Adventures), Naval Action, Combat Mission Battle for Normandy, ARK Survival, Wurm Unlimited and Empyrion. What this means is I don't have time to do AAR's, so sorry, maybe when I come up for air I will be back to doing them. I still play WGF/WGS at my local club and managed to take the Strakken out last Thursday and had a great time.

I hoping to get to the NEC in June, so hopefully I can get to see some of you in person again. My grandaughter is coming as well so if you see a dodgy character with a young lady looking lost on Saturday, give us a shout.

Keep smiling and watch out for that hidden bang card.

Great to hear from you again, Trev!

I do hope your shoulder problem is resolving quickly.

It would be great to see you at the NEC; there's always room for you at the table, even despite your "dodgy" appearance!

Why should we look for the "Bang" card? Is that so that you can slip it to Chris Hedeby when he's not looking?

Hope to see you soon, mate.

    cheers

    Tim

It is indeed good to hear that you are feeling more chipper again Trev.
Unfortunately I will only be there on the Friday, but maybe we will meet up at Doncaster if you feel like it later in the year.
till then look after yourself, and keep on gaming, in whatever guise suits you best.

Missed you. There is a thing called, "balance"?

Not that I have any of that.

Trev it's great to see you again and glad you are making a full recovery. We have a new stockist in our region located in Derby City Centre now - Galactic Models and full details are posted on the Derbyshire Wings of Glory Scene thread.

I can understand how you have become a P3D addict - especially flying around Alaska. I am about to get my first WGF Zeppelin Staaken so soon you will have somebody to race into the air over Derbyshire with this large bomber

    G'day Trev!
Really great to have you back at the Front.
We do need experienced pilots as the attrition rate is dire.

Hope you will be able to join in our upcoming WW1 Solo Campaign.

Thanks guys your all a great bunch of people. It was fantastic to meet up with some of you again at Games Expo, I see Tim is still holding out on SOG . I had to fight off Chris trying to convince me to buy a particular game, I wouldn't mind but he said to my grandaughter "He's going to do it" and she replied "Oh yes he will buy it" ........I'm doomed!!!!! Congrats to Simon on his promotion and I saw Winco was wearing flameproof clothing!!!!!! Take care and hope to see more of you at Doncaster or another event.
