As long as it's less than 3 figures, then it's all fine, right?
0 (I only use cards)
1-10 (just getting going)
11-25 (I think I like these little guys)
26-40 (I may have a problem)
41+ (WOW Anonymous for you)
As long as it's less than 3 figures, then it's all fine, right?
123 WWI with 3 duplicates.
One before I started recording them all in a spreadsheet, and 2 because I bought the two Nieuport 16 online before my son gave me both balloon sets for my birthday last year.
2 Giants on the way ...
Most of them are still unopened in the original box
It was a general statement Per not directed at you specifically. I know that both you and I are way past that point.
In answer to the poll question,I can only say more planes than I had before I visited Triples this weekend and leave it at that.

I don't bother counting at this point....what's the difference
I have been collecting WGS since February 2015 and have just found out that I am eligible to join WoW Anonymous! Now in the process of turning my attention towards Wings of War WW2 Miniatures whenever I can find them available for reasonable sale prices.
One of the benefits of being a non-drinker (or teetotal) I suppose ... In Economics it is known as Opportunity Cost.
I'm slowly getting ready for Origins. Here is some shots of the planes I have. I will try to get a count to ya all real soon.

Still putting some out. I think I need help.
Tom, something must be wrong with your camera or the collection you are showing... I see no hint of the planes with the BOOM cards you seem to enjoy collecting...I know for a fact there are at least a couple of score of those urging in your collection somewhere. What gives...no smoke, no fire, these all seem eerily healthy for planes in your livery? Better check your photo list Cappy!
That is a real Wings of Glory Armada, Thomas!
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
Thanks Thomas, I'm sure you will see my planes smoking at Origins. And Andy you are always welcome to come over and play anytime.
Thomas
I know and that dream of mine shall come true one day, I am sure.
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
That is a truly impressive mass of flying machines, Tom! I look forward to seeing some at Origins If my wife ever complains about the number of planes I have, I'll call up this thread and show her how bad I am not...
AMAZING!
All the best,
Matt
Tom You look like you have more planes than the current day RAF.
I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
Seems the poll needs re-setting. I believe lot of us changed category
That's why I made a new one

Right there with ya!
I thought everyone stored their SOG ships in their bath tubs?
It is impossible for a man to begin to learn what he thinks he knows. -- Epictetus
Fortunately, I have no SOG models, owing to a strict policy of
NO SAILS!
You know you really want them, Tim. Come over, come over, come over ...

Eric, the Wet Side claimed me at Origins when I picked up two Spanish SoG ships... And the Dark Side is still calling my name - it won't be long until WW2 begins infiltrating my beloved WWI collection (which is close to a modest 100-plane level right now...)
All the best,
Matt
I THINK I HAVE A PROBLEM.
I have as many planes as the planes you see above but not all are German. And they are all WW2, and owned by my brothers and I.
I physically own 1 but share the rest with my 2 brothers.
70 Wow with 5 more inbound. 2 valom.
I recognise I have a problem... it's future storage issues!
My answer now has to be too many.
Before the usual outcry of you can never have too many, let me justify my statement.
I am now in a situation that when I want a game set in a certain time frame it takes an hour of searching through my boxes to find a balanced mix and match of aircraft.

41+ (WOW Anonymous for you) I now have 136 and climbing. The ranking should be in steps of 50, then I would not be going to WOW Anonymous meetings.
Mike; you might try this poll:

From what has been said elsewhere it looks as if we will also soon be going to T&T Anonymous as well Mike.

Seem to be stuck on 97 planes... (all Ares/Nexus though), only six of them are Bristol’s... think I need to dust off the pocket money
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Well as for planes I'm in the 41 plus category -- but if you are counting all periods of wargaming (Ancients, AWI, ACW, Colonials, WW II, F&IW, etc.) I am in the thousands...yes, yes, its an addiction I suppose....
