    Default A Nod to OldGuy59

A thank you to Mike for creating a custom signature panel for me.

It was a surprise - I had never asked for one.

    Top work, as usual.

I concur. Mike is both a gentleman, and a scholar... and a damn fine artist.

    Love the sig banner!

What would he say if I told him I had another epiphany and I need (once again) his help?!

Just read through the Prague Summer Con AARs posted by Sven, with tears of longing in my eyes. Too many virtual friends I'd have liked to meet in person. However, I think Joaquim didn't drink enough to slow down or kill brain cells. Or, perhaps the Cliff's theory of Intelligence is coming into play:

'Well you see, Norm, it's like this . . . A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.'
Personally, I'm allergic to beer, so I have to substitute with wine.

But, more importantly, the answer is 'Yes!', if I can wedge it in.

    It's almost cooked.

    Soon I shall reveal it.

My brain cells just don't want to die or stop running...
