Default Who wouldn't build their own Dr.I from scratch if they could?

A number of videos in this series worth watching, but this is the one that caught my eye: https://vimeo.com/162879391

Makes me want to go get a taildragger signoff in my log book.......

I would love to have one.
OK, make that 2. One would of course be Red, the other would be my own paint scheme.

A company in Kanas makes kits for WW1 planes; most are 7/8th scale, so the you don't need a pilot's license to fly one.
If I was 20 years younger, and had money for the hanger rental.....

Now THAT's weird. I know it won't play embedded, you have to follow the link to their site, but it should then play........

    1) Same problem as Naharaht.

    2) Dr.Is are rubbish flying machines -- slow, unstable, and generally not-at-all-fun to fly. (Good Fighters rarely make good flyers.)

It does appear that since I posted the link they have moved it behind a firewall. My apologies.
