Settling in from the trek to the great north and the land of the grandson, I thought I would share some of the fun! The Warhawk museum was great! Sadly both P-40's were off flying at airshows so the hangar was empty of what I had hoped to see, but the rest of the museum was chock full of great items to see, lots of gear and aircraft history to soak in . . .
My gleanings from the gift shop! Poster of their P-51 Boise Bee, new WWII aircraft puzzle, stickers and patch!
Will have to paint this one up as soon as my latest AIM order arrives . . . Henry REALLY wanted to see the Warhawk! : (
Nice F4F . . .
These are on the "Someday" list of builds for sure! WWII target kites, way cool!
Very interesting color scheme for their Fokker DVII in art form . . .
And as far as it is . . . interesting construction details . . .
Henry and his mom liked this one the best!
I give up, what are these?
P-51 snow skis!!!! Interesting . . .
Yeah, I will likely pass on these . . .
Creative stanchions . . .
Well worth the visit even if they didn't have a Warhawk! And a great web site: http://warhawkairmuseum.org/ Somehow these got into the car on the way home to Arizona . . . illegal contraband, perfect for . . .
