Question: Is this hobby store reputable?

Hi all,

I hope this is OK to ask here...has anyone had experience ordering from a U.S. company called RC Hobbies? (EDIT: Removed link as precaution against breaking forum rules.)

I ask because I ordered a Fokker Dr.I from them last week, and have heard nothing about the status of the order despite a follow-up query. They've charged me through PayPal, but no plane, though it's listed as "in stock" on their site with no warnings about low quantities.

I'm concerned because every other online store I've ordered WoW minis from has been extremely prompt and had them in my hands inside of a week. Is this a bad egg? Anyone know? Thanks!

I don't know anything about the store, but if you look at their listing it shows that the plane is out of stock. The Dr1 has been in short supply for some time and individuals have been bidding up to $60 for one on ebay. Dutchy

Actually, the Kempf mini I ordered is still listed as "in stock":

P.S. I hope this does not step on the sponsor rules, if it does, please remove with my apologies. I just wanted to find out if anyone had had problems with this store.

(EDIT: Update--spoke to the store owner by phone and looks like my order is OK. He apologized for the delay, he'd been away at a game convention.)
