If you live close enough to Stowe Marie's Aerodrome, they are holding an event on the 16th April:
"Stow Maries Aerodrome and the WW1 Aviation Heritage Trust have teamed up with photographer Andy Rouse and Timeline Events to present a WWI Afternoon, Sunset and Night photography event on April 16th.
Festivities will kick off at around 4pm and will include reenactors posing with aircraft, aerial demonstrations and sunset engine runs. After dusk, the airfield’s lights will turn on to provide photographers with “a whole different dimension”, complete with additional engine runs that will bring the event to a close around 9pm.
Among the aircraft expected to participate in the day’s activities are TVAL-built BE2e, Albatros DVa and Sopwith Snipe replicas, as well as the Bremner brothers’ newly completed Bristol Scout and a 7/8 scale SE5a. A Morane Saulnier Type N and Bleriot XI recently loaned to Stow Maries by Bianchi Aviation Film Services are also slated to appear on static display along with a period electric truck/RFC van.
The event will be held at Stow Maries Aerodrome in Essex. Ticket information and additional details can be found at www.timelineevents.org"
It should be mentioned however that tickets are £69 each..........
