Default AAR: A pair of Wildcats and a Hayate

After flying two planes each Thursday night, and giving up our table to a local D&D group, we moved to the front of the store and tried one plane each - tired, but not done. Aiming for a bit of game balance, I figured two F4Fs against a Ki-84 would be fun.

No chickens here. Hard port! Hard port!

In the end, mission accomplished: another fun game before heading home to bed.

That Ki-84 is a good looking plane. Wildcats are not that graceful to look at but they did their job till better planes came along.

Not a bad little scramble there.

Sniping at tails, nice last shots. If you put the damage draws on the table for the pics, it might increase the tension for us the view!

    Hey Mischa,
There were three of us playing, and I let the players keep their damage hidden (except for smoke, etc.) it keeps the tension in the game; sorry that it spoils it here.
I've thought about some solo games (to practice dive bombing), but SWMBO barely lets me out of the house to play as it is...

Thanks for the AAR Allen... first time I've seen the Hayate in action.

Yes nice action, this might help my decision on if I should get the Hayate or not, Thanks.

Doh! I forgot about that playing with other people part. I just play at home and got use to reading the campaign AAR's.

No worries Mischa. Your AARs tempt me to get in on the campaign action.
