Evening all, I've just heard that the Thornbury IPMS show will be held on 7th August this year. Invites will be going out soon and I'm assuming that we will be wanting to run Wings (and Sails?) this year?

I should be to make it if we put on a display.
Can we get two tables and do both ?
I dont mind doung either game
I will ask
The call for games went out this week. I have asked for two tables
Cheers Dave, will that be WGF and Sails ?
That's the plan
Just heard we are good for both a Wings and Sails table
Top notch, cheers Dave.
Put me down for either, preference Sails, but can do both
Is anyone else attending this? at the moment it seems like we have 2 tables and 3 members.
I have no doubt Bogue will be along, Ill mention it to him this weekend
Hi all,
This show is next weekend so can I get a definitive of who will be attending as helpers for the show please
We have two tables, the intention will be to have WGF and Sails.
Myself and Bogue will do sails anyone for WGF? Let me know do we can plan this one.
I have banners for both and can supply the WGF if needed
Sails already to go
I will definitely be there. Happy to lead the WGF effort. If we can use your planes, that would be great, as I only have a limited selection.
- Neil.
Put me down as a yes, current issues notwithstanding
August 7th That's a real shame. It's a local for me but I'm away then (sadly a friend has gone west and shall be seeing him off on the other side of the country). I wish all a successful event. Look forward to seeing a few pics when we return. Have fun guys!
I should be OK for Thornbury IPMS on the 7th.
See you there.
Ok all, can I ask for all attending to be at the venue around 0900-0930 ready to set up.
I will supply both banners, sails and will bring some WW1 as well.
See you all Sunday
Will aim to be there for 9am.
- Neil.
A quiet day at Thornbury, but enough votes to gain WGF the best Participation game award. Well done chaps and hope you had a good day.

Here are the crew with the award for best participation game:
Great job Neil and Co. Can you see that someone gets the award up to Doncaster, as we want to display all the awards that the U.K. has won over the last four years.

Also now that I have looked at them your pictures from the show are also excellent Neil.
Do you mind if I post the two of Sails up on the Anchorage site?
Any of the chaps short of Minor Con medals? If so let me know.

Well done guys... good job and no one infected either...
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Two more pics of the Thornbury show, my collection is not as numrerous as Flying Helmut so the display was not that large. Cannot say anything about the action as I was on the sails table, but as previously mentioned we won Best Participation Game
