    Hi one and all
I have been absent for a while with work...
so trying to play catch up here........

I think if i have read various threads correctly ?
the 1/2 October also clashes with Derby Warlord event

If this is correct then quite possibly attending both events
means one day at each event?
    OR
One or both days at only one event...

    If i am correct,

    Then Saturday at Derby Warlords,
travel up for dinner on Saturday night
stop at hotel and game day with WoGA on Sunday

seems like living the dream to me....?

    Please
Can some one in the know confirm i have the combination of dates right?
    Then i can plan accordingly

    Thanks
    Maverick...

Yes Simon you are correct. Annual Gathering and Derby dates clash. 1/2 October.

Hi Simon, as yet I have not asked for a table at Derby, although we have received an invite from the organisers.
Personally I am hoping to get to Doncaster, but will be asking Derby organisers for a slot next year. Here
I am surmising we are reverting Doncaster back to September for future events?

Neil put me down for a SoG slot for Sat and Sunday, I will be comuting both days

NP Chris consider it done. I've asked Chris to see if we can book Doncaster next year for Sept. Will pm you soon. Texting from phone in bed at present.

Well I never was really part of the clique anyway was I? Enjoy Doncaster.

  17. #17

It's hardly a clique - just a collection of friends and acquaintances that has grown over a period of years Barney.
It's a shame if in your mind that constitutes a clique, but if your trip to Australia doesn't come off you are (along with everyone else) more than welcome at Doncaster, the more the merrier as always...

Yes I agree. Barn is also going to stop playing this game at this rate and sell off his stuff. Best thing if this is what has been playing hell with his health.

But he forgot to mention that bit.

I can't see where this has come from Barney. You and Marion are always welcome and always will be. As Chris has wrote Doncaster is for members to come along and enjoy a weekend of gaming. In that respect it is a clique as it is restricted to members and who they bring along. It is not open to the public as when we put on participations at shows.

I read into your post between the lines that your trip was due to work not from anything else.

I'm working on the faithful still coming,

    Simon (Maverick)
    JohnBiggles and family
    Possibly Trev (Brambo)

So we could be up to 13 players.

Come on chaps. Could we have a little bit more support please?
Last year we had over 30 players. Lots of prizes and some tremendous games.

Even if you can only pop in for a morning, afternoon, 1 day, 1 game; its well worth it.
And did I say we get free entry into the museum too?

I'd love to join in the fun even if it's for one day, but I cannot confirm anything yet as my wife works alternate weekends, which means I could be looking after my daughter Zoe that weekend, I am starting to get withdrawal symptoms as I've not played Wings of Glory WWI for quite a while now.
