Hopefully by end of this week I will be in a postition to confirm the timetable and slots for games already booked. Then I can open the game slots for players to put their names down for.

I can confirm that we will have 3 tables operating:

Table 1: World War 1: controlled by Chris (Hedeby) and Tim (Flying Helmut)
Table 2: World War 2: controlled by Neil (skafloc)
Table 3: Sails of Glory controlled by Chris (Boney10) Simon (Maverick) but not by Tim (Flying Helmut)...just to make sure everyone understands that Tim will:

    NOT BE PLAYING SAILS!

PS: Before I forget the Sunday morning game, Ace of Aces will be a SoG game, Tim will be the Flying Dutchman.
See you on the Dark Side......

    I currently have 1 x HE111, 4 x JU88, 3 x JU87, 6 x 109 and 3 x 110's, 2 x Hurricanes, 7 x Spitfires. I could add 3 x beaufighters if pushed.

Map of London (outline) with Thames Estuary and large enough to put satellite Airfields at relative distances and positions. Tangmere can be off map if space not available. British players can choose which Airfield they are based at. German Bomber players must dice (1 x D6) for where they cross the English Coast between Brighton and Ipswich. Divide into 6 sections.

    Roll 2D6 Result =

    2. Hun in the Sun. German Escort appears anywhere within close range of Enemy. Stay for 3 moves only as at Limit of Range and Low on Fuel.
    3. Early warning. Appear halfway between Airfield and Enemy. (British only, Germans appear at table edge dice D6 as for Bombers)
    4. Early warning. Appear halfway between Airfield and Enemy. (British only. Germans appear at table edge dice D6 as for Bombers)
    5. Returning Sortie. Low on Ammo and Fuel. 1 pass only at Long Range.
    6. Vectored in. Appear ahead of Enemy just outside Long Range.
    7. Vectored in. Appear astern of Enemy just outside Long Range.
    8. Vectored in. Appear anywhere within Short Range of Enemy.
    9. Jumped by German Escort just after take-off who appear within Short Range. (British only)
    10. Fail to take off as still being re-armed and re-fuelled.
    11. Returning Sortie. Low on Ammo and Fuel. 1 pass only at Long Range.
    12. Vectored in but not attained sufficient altitude. Appear within Long Range of nearest enemy but 2 Levels below. This may be 1 Level if Target is at Level 2. (British only)

Note: Any Double. (Except double 6) = Hun in the Sun. German Fighter Escort appears anywhere within close range of Enemy. Stay for 3 moves only as at Limit of Range and Low on Fuel.

British minor victory if only 1 Enemy Plane Bombs London = 10 Victory Points
British major victory if No Enemy Plane Bombs London = 15 Victory Points.
Delete 2 Victory Points for each Aircraft lost.

German minor Victory if any Bomber bombs London = 10 Victory Points
German major if more than 2 Planes Bomb London = 15 Victory Points
Delete 2 Victory Points for each Aircraft lost.
Add 5 Victory Points for any Bomber Leaving the Table having successfully bombed London.

    Airfield Locations.
Hendon – 15 miles NW of London
    Croydon – 12 miles S of London
    Kenly – 15 miles S of London
Biggin Hill – 25 miles SE of London
Tangmere – 60 miles SW of London

British-Suggest no more than 2 Squadrons per Airfield with 2 x Spitfires & 2 x Hurricanes per squadron.
Can be 2 x Spitfire or 2 x Hurricane squadrons per airfield depending on models available.
    German-Escorts can be Bf109 or Bf110 with Bombers being JU88, HE111 and JU87.

Number of Squadrons, both sides, to suit number of players with max. 2 models (1 Squadron) per player for both Fighters and Bombers.

This scenario tries to re-create the chaos and confusion which reigned in this period.

    Hi All, My Scenario
I'm still not entirely sure how its all going to work, but basically an allied convoy of freighters will be steaming along, with an Airship giving top cover/ sub spotting.
A sea plane tender with destroyer escort is on the table somewhere.
CP seaplanes are in range and may be requested by the U boat.

I have the sub, the seaplane tender and destroyer, an SS class airship, some freighters in production, and a couple of Short 184 float planes.
I need CP float planes and anything else people want to fly.

The U boat can damage shipping by torpedo, but needs to surface to get a kill using it's deck gun.
When its surfaced, it can be killed.
points will be scored for aircraft brought down, ships sunk, and U boat attacks thwarted.
hopefully fun will be had by all

P.S. the ships are all 1/1200, the aircraft of course are 1/144

    Lest we forget

    HI John
I have 4 x 1:600th freighters and a lot of 1:600th Destroyers and Coastal forces. Also got some scratch built wooden cargo ships knocking around somewhere which I could search for if you need.

Read your post again after I wrote the above. Should have gone to Specsavers!

Very nice memento, though there is a spelling that will need correction - it's regale not regail.
The bearer could be regaled with beer whilst they regale the provider with stories of how they earned it.
