I fly one almost every time I play. Albatross CIII my fave but also others for variety.

Not to often (voted "Sometimes"), but they do add additional flavour to the game. At the beginning I've been a bit skeptical, but, as time went on I found out I like them.
I like 2 searter but don't fly them as much as I'd like. Can't wait to try the new Hannover!
Only sometimes for me. Usually doing bombing runs my friends prefer to have me do the run in the two seaters. Most of our engagements are dogfights anyway though.
Funny how things change over time.
Since we started this thread back in 2010, I would now have to answer differently, and say when the scenario demanded it.
We have so many more to choose from now, and the large bombers are carrying out some of the rolls that the two seaters used to do.
Still fly my "Biff" whenever I can though.

Surprisingly, I use them more now than in the past.
I confess I am addicted to Bristols... I fly 2-seaters most of the time as well, lol
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
There are 2-seaters, and then there are 2-seater fighters. Brisfits, CL.IIs and CL.IIIs.
Even flying BE2c's can be fun. The lack of armament encourages you to stick to the mission, be it arty spotting, bombing or photo recon, and not get too aggressive. Just surviving is a challenge, but evasion maneuvers are possible.
i like flying them all but 2 seaters are a lot of fun! (as are bombers).
For mission-based games two-seaters are essential.
All the time.
I fly them more than I used to. Now that we have more 2 seater fighters instead of the more bomber/recon types.

I played the Hannover for the first time against an opponent yesterday. I was a blast to play very enjoyable. I will be playing it more often.
Though I play WW2 / WGS and realise this thread relates to two-seaters in WW1 / WGF there are I believe some common factors certainly in relation to the flight characteristics of aircraft / style of flight within gameplay ...
So I voted About Half Of The Time as what's already mentioned differs and at times quite extensively in both versions of Wings of Glory / War. I prefer to practice flying different seating configurations on a regular basis rather than fixating on one ... Only to find myself playing the other and thinking by accident that I'm flying whichever I have been fixating on leading to player & pilot error. I also like the way that two-seaters most often provide me with an additional gunner / additional crew member should one become incapacitated when faced with a particularly rugged or well-armed opponent. But as aircraft size and weight increases manoeuverability in general tends to drop. Requiring additional flying skills and knowledge one can only gain from playing two-seater aircraft types regularly and acquiring experience.
There is no substitute for experience ...
Something I really like about WGF having played a couple of times through the Aerodrome is the real 'feeling' you get of stick and rudder flying which can only really be experienced in WGS when using the biplanes of WW2. As you progress away from the biplanes that same 'feeling' of stick and rudder flight tends to get lost amidst more speed, less manoeuverability and in places increases in firepower. Have yet to fly a two-seater playing WGF but I would definitely like to have a go ...

Differences in the flight characteristics between single seater and two seater planes are much less in WGF than in WGS, as they were in real life. Esp. when you get to the two seater fighters, like the German CL class and the Bristols. Those can be quite lethal in the right hands.

Although I voted "about half the time" for the poll, in actuality (for me anyway) it may be greater. I like games that are mission driven. Yes, straight out dogfights are exciting and I've participated in a lot of them, but playing with a particular objective to be accomplished further promotes strategy as well as basic tactics. Two-seaters remind us what the air war was originally all about: reconnaissance, spotting, bombing, etc. Everything else grew out of that!
Mike, you hit the nail on the head. The scouts get all the glory and attention but it really was all about the 2 seater missions. Mission oriented games are infinitely more fun than straight out dogfights.
I like including them in most of my games. Love the German CL series and the British Bristol.
