Overlord Abingdon March 6 2016

Was looking to get a foot in on this show this year, however as I will be inNewark for Hammerhead on 5 March do we have anyone able and willing to put on a table at this one ?
I will do the contacts etc to start with but do we have anyone to put the show on here or can we remove from the list ?

Chris, are we talking Abingdon as in south of Oxford please? RAF Abingdon or Dalton Barracks as it's now known ... Genuine reasons for asking / I am now on the way to recovery from recent ill-health.

That would be excellent - I have relatives in area and could attend with ease. Also (sadly) unable to do Hammerhead 2016 due to event clash on Saturday 5th March over which I am now outnumbered x 2!

This event takes place the following day ...

I might be able to do this - it's certainly closer to home than Newark, but I was planning to do Hammerhead on Sat. 5th March to defend the trophy I won there last year.
Doing both shows, Saturday and Sunday, would be tricky, but not totally beyond the reams of possibility..................it's just a bit too soon to tell.

It I'd frighteningly lacking in information, which I never take as a good sign. The lack of details for 2016, even less so.

I can help make up numbers for this one if we think it's worth it. Shame there are no details of last years games to see if we could get some feedback.

Neil: Hopefully. Unlike the problems I am having with Prague Con 2016 vs Work this is a different situation as early March not busy except for the odd Qatar Airways / Emirates pilot to assist.

Abingdon is 2 hours away from home but there's always my relatives nearby - 45 minutes by car.

I'm having to drop out - please accept apologies. Very busy week leading up to Hammerhead 2016 which we are hoping to be at for 09:00 - 09:30 ... LONG day.

So I will need a space day to rest up on the Sunday of that week - order of the S M O.

This show not being represented, I did not get a reply from the organisers, maybe next year if no clashes, but March is a hectic month

It would have been quite an effort for me, being the day after Hammerhead.
I can now concentrate on that one.

Thats a shame - but would have been beyond range of my fuel tanks anyway. (not to mention the 'negotiations' I would have needed to get out on both days of the weekend...)

Abingdon has been going for a while now, since '99 by the looks of it - if anyone is on farce book you might get more comms via their page on there, inc the phone number for the organiser.

I must admit after I sent off the mail , other things did take over and I did not pursue greatly, but will drop a call to the organisers for next year, but we need bodies

Just had a message saying we may still be able to get in to the Abingdon, if we can, is there anyone able and willing to put on a game at this show.
Let me know asap so I can confirm or not
