A splendid mission Pete.
I was glued to the story line from start to finish, and then got a satisfactory end game.
What a famous draw for your pilot.

Another brilliant AAR Pete!
Loved those pics of the bullet holes & strut damage.
Mate you must be studying German in your spare time. You are really getting into the spirit of the German Physic.
Nicely done Pete, Keller did really well in a D.III up against a Tripehound driven by an ace pilot ! You have earned a partial victory for forcing him to leave the table and a probable may be claimed. My experience was similar - Close but no cigar ! At least we learn by experience & lived to fight another day.
Due to his fine shooting Keller has achieved a skill of Deadly Aim I - Pilot can add +1 aim bonus even if he didn't shoot at plane in previous phase.(Think you missed one incoming from RC on the four - you won't forget them now !)
The clique might pay more attention to him now !!

Another splendid AAR Pete. Its a pity you are flying for the Dark Side, We could use a pilot in the Bulldogs
I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
Lucky gits are, after all, lucky gits.
Well played Pete
A tripe is a deadly enemy if you are in a DIII.
Great AAR
Nice to chase off the Tripe. Keller's growing experience will be needed. Keep up the fight, the Kaiser is watching!
Nicely done all 'round. Your "Dawn lighting" and table's edge backdrop were quite well done - how did you achieve it?
The lighting is just because the actual lighting of my table is a little "weak" right now..
The backdrop was from a quick print I made a few months back after seeing FO Kyte's AAR.
Need to do a "proper" one one of these days
I enjoyed the altitude. I figured with only two planes I could get used to them.
I will try using them in all scenarios going forward.
I find they get to about the same level when the chips are down but it can give you nice start positions and, if you use loops and stuff, it can give some nice photo ops !

Great AAR Pete - and Keller acquitted himself well
Nicely done Pete, a brilliantly written and executed AAR.
See you on the Dark Side......
