    Default A6M5 artwork

    Hi,

Has anyone got a decent top down drawing of an A6M5 in IJN green?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Nix this for the moment, I just stole one from the avatars
Should hopefully be good enough for a custom card.

Mike AKA OldGuy59 has many interesting stat cards in his profile albums.

I wanted to make my own. I'm not bad with the graphic design, I just can't draw etc.
The one I pulled from Jager will do as a start point, then I can fill in the text I need.

    Cheers

Steve should drawings be unavailable then would top-down photos of models be useful to you please? Know of a few 1/72 scale models of the A6M2 I have but I am sure that I have also built an A6M5 (clipped wings) which sports the IJN green colours. It is an old Hasegawa kit from some decades ago but it still built nicely back in 2005. Just post on here if photos of this would help you out.

Colours used were Humbrol 117 top / Humbrol 64 underside / Humbrol 24 leading edge of wings and Humbrols 11 / 56 / 85 ... From memory if you are planning a repaint. Hope you are well

Thank you. I have the card now, just have to wait for the plane to arrive from the far east.
I should be able to tweak the card to the plane. It's already painted, so I can be lazy this time.
I'll keep the paint references for later though, there will be more A6M5s I'm sure.
