    Hey all,

The same seller has a number of difficult-to-find WGF kites up for bid at the moment:

2x Albatros D.Va (Jentsch & Weber) and 1x Sopwith Camel (Olieslagers)

    2x DH.4 (Atkey & AEF) and 1x Roland C.II (Luftstreitkräfte - purple)

    1x Belgian RE.8

    1x SE5a (Dallas) and 1x Br.14 B2 (De Greffier & Marseille)

That is odd. Not sure if that was the case for me... my initial search found only the SE5a and Breguet, then I saw the other ones as "related" items. The photography struck me as similar, else I might have noticed it was the same seller.

Sorry I'd rather order from the AA store. Postage is a bit steep!

True. Keith is more than fair in his pricing. For those who are looking for some of the original Nexus planes, however, options are limited.

+1 Even if I was into bidding for WGF aircraft that postage is terrible!

Okay... I'll bite. What's the overseas postage?

I'll be honest, I checked only domestic US shipping rates before posting the links here... They weren't too bad for expedited...

$47 each - USPS Priority International

That is a bit steep for purchases across the pond; some sellers offer cheaper alternatives alongside this method.

I often buy from the U.S., and almost always manage to get a better deal; still, I've seen worse!

Allow me to goggle a bit...

That is a little on the steep side. I could ship them for half of that... and probably less.

I'll have to check international rates before posting in the future. My apologies, gents, for the lack of warning.

No apology necessary; please continue to flag up items of potential interest. I'm sure anyone looking to buy such will have the gumption to pull out before shelling out a fortune on postage!

Will do. And, I should mention, I'm happy to serve as a go-between/middleman should someone want to shave a little off the shipping... it won't always work, but might have in this particular case.

As no SE5's available I've taken Prodromoi up on his offer and purchased two SE5's he got from facebook, along with 4 more DIII's and a Strutter! All Shapeways I might add.
See you on the Dark Side......
