Today I was at World War Games, Derby and had my first WW2 Wings of glory game and got hooked. I had my first sortie in a mosquito in an endeavour to try to destroy a German train. After a tricky start and a bit of help from the gentleman demonstrating the game i managed to destroy the train and escape back over the sea to good ole England. I limped home trailing smoke after receiving engine damage from a ME 109. Hope to play again with any Bedfordshire members?

A very warm welcome to the Aerodrome Ian. I am sorry I was not at DWW myself to meet you as a fellow WGS player. Should have been but work has got in the way!

Anything you need please feel free to ask. Your introduction to the game sounds fantastic and has hopefully encouraged you to ask questions as a new player.

Do not be afraid of playing Solitaire Wings of Glory as you await local players to show up. Excellent learning opportunities exist within solo games.

Glad to welcome you to the Drome Ian.
You may have noticed me fleetingly, as first my ME was demolished and then my train. Hope to meet you in the skies again sometime.

Welcome from UK North of England Squadron. With that record it's a good job you didn't turn up for the RFC taking on the Zeppelin 1 table over, it may have been over a lot quick had you been there too.
See you on the Dark Side......
