Thread: Custom made neodym ball joints for our airplanes

Default Custom made neodym ball joints for our airplanes

I've recently found a company here in Czech that makes customized neodymium magnets.
That would resolve my long time desire of a clean, non-invasive solution of joints for our airplanes.

    It may look like this

Two parts - a ball with a hole for the airplane peg and a saddle piece with a tubular extension so it can be pulled on a plastic airplane peg we use. You may need to use the adhesive rubber glue that can be purchased here on aerodromme shop to fix both the airplane and the stand peg in it.

The thing is i will need to order about 50-100 of these things and i need no more than 15.
Would anyone be interested? I guess the price for one would be about 2-3 euro.

Might be a bit too expensive for at 2€ a piece.

You are right. Also fixing the airplanes in plastic pegs is based on the partial flexibility of the plastic, which wouldn't work well for steel/magnet. I am working on another solution.
