My to-do list this month is Tim-worthy. Whether it becomes a done list, or goes the way of Rob's September workbench remains to be seen....

That should have read 'Reaper' not 'Predator'. It's Skunkworks 1/72 (https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/SKW72003). Two models, 4 sets of decals including a set for US Customs and Border Protection. Seems a bit harsh using Hellfire missiles against Mexicans crossing the border illegally

Skunkworks do the same thing in 1/100 15mm scale as well, mine will come into use next week when US Marines try to get to a downed drone before Terry does. Scenario in here

Also got a Revell 1/48 UAV for 28mm games

Guess it depends on which alt-history world your playing in; for instance Stirling's short story 'Roachstompers' in the Power anthology.

The sunny-tanny weekends seem to be over for good now, so October may be a very busy month here .
Some results will hit the stage maybe this coming Sunday evening...

Thanks for that will have to look into that option one day - might go for a diddy one to hang off the sky hook or the fan !
I haven't tried the SS rules yet, still tripping with FoF at the moment, looking forward to the release of Ambush Alley 2.....

just to add a little to my special project x 3, I can now order the missing parts from shapeways, courtesy of the designer who re-scaled his larger models smaller.

A few completed planes for Jasta 35.

I'm pleased how my lozenge decals worked. Also an Albatros D.Va

Losely based on the only photo I've found of a Jasta 35 Albatros but with 1918 markings.

The workbench never stays empty for long!

A tiny RC sopwith triplane. Fuselage and struts built in an evening. I even found a small bit of sandlewood to make a turtle deck from. The kit is really well designed and simple to build as everything is massive in 1:24 scale!

In real life it was a masterpiece of mass production.... There were 8 different variants of SSW R Type bomber (R.I to R.VIII imaginatively enough) and they built precisely one of each.... To be fair, the R.VIII was such a promising design that they ordered two, but didn't finish building the second one....

From _The German Giants_ [Haddow & Grosz]:

R.I 1/15 [tho' it never saw combat]
    R.II 2/15 [no combat]
    R.III 3/15 [no combat]
    R.IV 4/15 [Rfa 501 Eastern Front 4/17 - sometime in '18]
    R.V 5/15 [Rfa 501 late '16 - Feb. '17]
    R.VI 6/15 [Rfa 501 7 Aug '16 - Nov. '17]
    R.VII 7/15 [Rfa 501 early '17 - sometime '18]

There was an R.VIII, but it was a substantially different unit.
