historical wacky wing question

If most of the red barrons kills were in an albatross dIII, and was killed just after getting the fokker dr. Why wouldnt he be more associated with the albatros? Anyone have a card for that?

Although he was killed just after getting the Dr1 he did accrue 18 victories on type in that period so only a few behind the Albatros, it is the type he died in, it was bloody April, it was a Fokker... it was more exciting than an Albatros D.III and everyone flew them ... take your pick !
Haven't seen a card for that one but I'm sure someone out there has one - or will make you one - maybe we'll get one when the D.III gets re-released by Ares ?!

I agree. I think being killed while flying the Dr.I has a lot to do with it as well.

There is a MvR Albatross DII model though!
