Muttter mumble moan - Windows 10?

Not really sure if Windas is the culprit but a couple of times I have got up to find my screen frozen in screen saver mode and have had to do the hold down power button thing to reboot. This morning I think well I have 10-15 minutes I would like to print that excellent escort carrier from our files section for my newly acquired USN planes that arrived yesterday (merit models). Anyway 10 minutes to reboot, then it does not recognise the printer. Then after selecting a different driver then of course it runs out of paper! All in all it took about 20 minutes to print.

Anyone else had unexpected shut downs with the new windows?

I have not loaded Windows 10 yet. Still marking time.

i know where youre coming from as ive had some conflicts with google chrome since i recently updated to windows 7 (so i could get the free windows 10 upgrade) unfortunately the "three finger salute" (ie control, alt, delete) was of no avail and i had to reinstall chrome. switched to something called comodo dragon and so far, so good.

No problems like that with W10.
Initially (after upgrading) the system seemed to work a bit slower, but the problem is over now. It runs smoothly.

Not had that problem Gary - I am finding that Win10 sometimes fails to complete a shut-down, requiring a hard reset to re-start
