    Default Tail Feathers

Tail Feathers is (another) new miniature game using templated movement. This time it's mice riding birds and doing battle!

The implementation looks something like Star Wars Armada meets Wings of Glory. There is a nice system for managing steepness of turn and limiting maneuver quite naturally too by the looks of it.

By Plaid Hat Games who have a very good track record, so I'll be watching this one.

And more detail on how the movement works.

Looks interesting, but I think I can give this one a miss, especially as I have just had my 'tail' chewed off by SWMBO when my latest Kickstarter arrived today in a very big box (2'x2'x2') of goodies. Serious fiscal questions were asked, to which there was no satisfactory (or at least honest) response.

    My condolences, Steve.

I'm trying to finance a trip to a Con in November, besides the storage trays I can't afford. Lots of Wings of Glory minis purchases not happening, while we sort out living expenses. I'm taking on part-time jobs to pay for my toys, otherwise, I can't answer those questions, either. Even then, I have all sorts of flak.

Not my cup of tea but I like the way they have dealt with the flight movement - though a tad open when trying to shake off someone on your six !

I sort of shot myself in the foot with this one. SWMBO texted me at work to say a big box had arrived with 'KS' on the side of it, and not expecting this one so soon I texted back saying "oh, that will be the bacon jam kickstarter" (don't ask!). So now I am getting secondary interrogation about exactly how many KSs I have signed up for.

Well, there was a "strategic diplomacy" game of it many moons ago (of which The SO has a copy)....

But I think that discussion is for...

At least if I get a big box I can just say " The Eagle has Landed."
