    Default Torpedo bombing

Anyone come up with a set of house rules for torpedo bombing?

Try here: WW2 Air to Surface Rules

Check Neil's [Skafloc] AARs for his many trials and examples during the development of these rules.

He is upgrading these with an adaptation of the Sails of Glory damage, though. Stand by for them.

Once they have their final outing at Doncaster (Sept 18-20) this year I will publish them.

Okay thanks guys. Actually just planning on doing something very simple for WWI, to include in my North Sea Stew scenario.

Yes- don't release the torpedo - just fly straight in to the target - you never miss especially when the target is something the size of a carrier...

Rules coming along well. I have the merchants for WW2 OP Pedestal done from there it's a bit of a leap to the HMS ships part.

For WW1 the rules will be much simplified.

As in everything the bombing rules are no change only how the damage is worked out.

Sounds similar to Sue's [ling] dive bombing technique for carriers (Link: AAR Skype Game - Norway, May 1940).

Hard on the airplanes and crew, though.
