Totally agree... and, assuming Ares gives us an Aviation Militaire kite, either of these would be a welcome addition:

First one's a bomber. The second is a decent candidate though (doubly so as there's a restored one in that scheme), or possibly one from this escadrille:

Good point about the first... must have been blinded by the swan heraldry. Very cool.

Your offering is a solid option as well... would give us one in CDL/light dope and keep it from being an all-English show.

Well, that's just fantastic... would receive my vote if Ares were to go with a French 1-1/2 Strutter.

    A frog strutter - awesome!

And a French 1&1/2 would tie back to the Hanriot minis -- Hanriot built most of the French 1&1/2s under license, and borrowed the strut design for the HD.1.

I'd be good with 1 Frenchie, and that one looks quite good.

One Frenchie would be nice as they did have their share of them!

    Not just the struts.

Much of the HD1 has a 'Sopwith' look including the tail and rear fuselage. One of the reasons I have always been drawn to the HD1 is that it is a Sopwith 'cousin'.
