Benno Fiala Ritter von Fernbrugg at the end of Jun 1917 he was assigned to Flik 41J, but after 5 weeks was reassigned to Flick 12D where his services was thought to be greater.

Julius Arigi probably oposted in Jun 191&6 and then after a short stay due to problems with the CO Brumowski he was posted to a newly formed fighter squadron Flik 55J in July 1917.

06 Nov 1917 flying an Albatros D.III 153.54 he and Radames Iskra encountered the SPAD VIIs of Cpt. F. Baracca and Lt. G. Parvis (91a) and was struck by a bullet in the spine and crash landed and died.
