We now have a minimum crew of 3 for the show. Cheers to Neil (sparky) and Tom for stepping up to the plate once more.

2-3 more would be nice and give everyone a chance to look around the show and have a break. So come on any more takers?

Well Sean got in at 2am, at least I got 5 hours sleep. But we got away for 6.30 to help set up the show.

    How did it go?

You may well ask. It was definitely a show of 2 halfs.

First half WoGf we had 2 games going.

Surprise, surprise PM we had 2 yes you better believe it 2 SoG games.

Pics and write ups o follow. Of course the DoG will be on the Anchorage site. Only fair.

Show Report: Doors open 10am. Finish games by 3pm.

Having arrived at the venue for 7.15 to assist setting up not only our tables, but the show, a tired and weary father and son awaited the arrival of our reinforcements.

With Neil (sparky) and Tom (Indie55) arriving we awaited the arrival of the masses, and waited and waited.

However we used this time to introduce Sean (skipper) and Tom to the basics of Sails of Glory.

Unfortunately being so far from the entrance the members of the public had to walk past a myriad of traders before getting to us. That said our first arrivals jumped straight into the Wings game, Snoopy and the Pup flight v The Red Baron and the Angry Bird Squadron.

Terry won the coveted Bullseye award, given to the pilot with the biggest bullseye on his back, and the Deadly Aim award to young Nathan who shot down more aircraft than the dead quick aim of Snoopy, aka Neil.

A second Snoopy game was played but alas both myself and Tom were embroiled on the seven seas on the SoG table (aren't we glad we kept the 2nd table on), so I didn't get as many photo's. (Apologies).

All in all a very productive day...where are the SoG pictures you ask? Over on the Anchorage site, apologies again but just for Tim...

Just wanted to say thanks for a great day. I thought this year's show was better than last year's, although I was too busy playing to get a proper look around. (I didn't spend anything)

Love that wooded mat, Neil. Some serious terrain-envy going on over here.

It is nearly 3 years old that mat Christopher. It's getting a bit sun bleached but is still nice to play on.
