Almost finished the Shapeways Kampfflieger 1/144 Sopwith Pups.

Drilled and a 2mm plastic rod added to fit the WoG altitude pegs.
    Peter Pig pilots added.

A very basic painted job to represent RNAS Squadron 8, B Flight.
Still need to add the red fuselage band

Oh and that is the start of snoopy in the corner of the painted pic.

That looks like quite a bit of work for the rest of this month to me Mike.

As an update on my workbench, I've not posted for a few days as I don't want to go spamming this thread with a photo every day, but I've set myself a challenge (which I expect to flunk royally....) of trying to paint a plane (of a different type each day) every day for a month. I'm 5 days in now, and slightly surprised I've not gotten fed up of it already.... Mind you, the real crunch time will be when I run out of relatively straightforward Wings of Glory repaint options and have to start putting a dent in my Shapeways pile....

    Photos are here: http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/album.php?albumid=2937

Well that has turned out really well Dave.
It will look really smart when painted up.

If it was for Tim, Dave could have omitted making the sails.

That's quite the crossover, Dave... and one with an impressive amount of detail.

The elves are busy finding sets of wings that would fit as well as 75 Lewis guns to mount on the decks . . . we may be looking at a complete cross-over . . .

Nice P-39, Richard! Love the over-painted national insignia.

A fine example of Lend-Lease in action.

Nice ones there, Richard. Like the weathered lend-lease veteran. So are you running a WGS Aerodrome vs. Aerodrome scenario?

Not many people even realise S.H.I.E.L.D. goes back that far, let alone that the helicarrier wasn't a new development....

I guess he had to do something with those spare SPAD wings.

The Eastern front is back by popular demand at Guns of August! Between Bob and i we will field a few Il-2`s to keep the Germans heads down!

Love the P39's Richard, I've got a couple of there in the UK squadron markings. I'm thinking your's are a better option I may have to reach for the paints.

The star-strutter yes (if unforeseen maintenance work done in time). Otherwise unless you can come to a Triangle Simulation Society game day in Raleigh next month, you may have to wait until Fall In! in November. I'm cooking up a "North Sea Stew" scenario with clipper's outstanding naval aircraft...

Wow, that sure is some prototype. What is the climb rate with full sails?

Depends on the winds, of course.

    Default Valom Fokker DR.1

I've started attempting to build my 1/144 Valom Fokker DR1s.
Theses kits are fiddly and great patience is needed.

I'll let you know how I get on.
