Good catch on that. The are a nice line of planes!

Bought!
Thanks for emptying my bank account!
They have been available for quite some time. The aircraft come with the undercarriage fixed in the 'down' position for display on the carrier's flight deck. There is another thread on this site dealing with how to remove the undercarriage to make them usable in the game.

Here is a link to the place I bought mine some time ago. Looks like good price in the UK.
The Merit 1/200 Scale aircraft are fantastic for either using as 3D scenery for WW2 / WGS or as display models representative of being a WW2 / WGS player ... I will definitely be buying some Merit NA B-25 Mitchell models along with some Grumman F4-F Wildcats to display as part of my Regular Collection as I also have these aircraft types in my Wings of Glory / War collection.
Even more interesting is how I will be able to display these aircraft alongside a couple of 1/200 Scale diecast airliner models which have already made it into my Regular Collection - especially the flyBE Bombardier Q400 Turboprop I have as I have been involved with pilot training with them for a number of years now. In fact the flyBE Q400 recently dropped in on one of my Solitaire games just recently using a spare XD Manoeuver Deck: I was so engrossed and pleased with the result of this that I forgot to take any photos - will do next time! If Merit manufacture a Douglas SBD Dauntless I will wait until the Official appear from ARES first before adding this type to my collection the same way ...
Thank you for starting this thread - very interesting indeed
