Andy, do you know of any wargames shops in Krakow worth visiting? Found some model shops online but not wargames shops.
And before anyone else piles in, yes thanks, I know the Aviation Museum is up the road and the Home Army Museum is in the town.

Hmmm...Steve...I will make some research...
First that comes to mind is Galakta Shop:
Galakta Hooby Center
Łagiewnicka St. 39,
Cracow
Open daily Mon-Fr 12:00 - 15:30.
I am not sure if they are specifically wargame oriented, but you may have a rough view over their website:
www.galakta.pl
They publish lots of FFG games.

What kind of stuff are you interested in mostly, Steve?
WoG items are available rahter in online shops here, of which rebel.pl is the best one IMHO. They have a stationary shop in Gdańsk, the opposite side of the country, however.

Another stationary shop (and games publisher), rather wargames oriented in Cracow is BARD.
Bard Centrum Gier - Magiczny Świat Gier - Address: Zabłocie St. 23, Cracow. Open 10:00 - 18:00.
You can visit their site: www.bard.pl
They had some WoG stuff in the Nexus times.
Thanks Andy. Not interested in anything specific, just looking for somewhere to pass an hour or so, or perhaps find that certain something that I didn't know I needed until I saw it

So I am sure Steve those two shops Galakta and Bard should be appropriate (both companies are also game publishers).
When are you going to visit Cracow? Sven and me are going to get there on a one day sightseeing on Sep. 27th. I would gladly meet you any other date if time allows.

Currently putting together a proposal for a club outing just before we go on to Antwerp for the Crisis wargame show. For some reason some of the club want to go and see a Godforsaken Seven Years War battlefield in the middle of Germany miles from anywhere. I'm trying to find an alternative. Worst case scenario is I go to Krakow on my own.

Oh, you will never go alone to Cracow .
