A Cant floatplane in 1/200 at a reasonable Buy It Now price

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aereo-Aerona...3D151755424618

    and a Caproni Ca.3 in 1/144

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aereo-Aerona...16.m2516.l5255

Anyone seen these before? Googling like a good 'un to see it there are any more in 144 or 200 scale.

Edit: Ah, yes, they do, but only one more in 1/200:

I own all of them. They are good models. The Caproni Ca.3 model is more detailed than the Ares ones.

Very interesting find. I've got more Capronis that I really need anyway, so I'm not tempted. Otherwise, I might be!

I have a couple of the Capronis, and very nice they are too!

I snagged the Caproni in a local shop, and I'd love to get a couple more! Thanks for posting, Steve!

I picked the Cant up some months ago.
Just wanting stats and a card for it to get it on the table.

    OK, working on it.

    Cant Z 506B

    empty weight - 8,750 kg - (2 x 8.75) + 12 = 30 damage. Bomber base.
    Speed - 350 km/h - P deck deleting sideslips, 45' and 60' turns and Immelman, measure from peg .

"The armament consisted of a 12.7 (0.5 inch) Breda-SAFAT machine guns in the dorsal position and three 7.7 mm (0,303 inch) machine guns, one in the ventral position and two on the sides of the fuselage."

Zoe: should there be a few fewer hits due to the weight of the floats not adding to the damage capability of the plane?

Zoe you are the swiftest thing since greased lightening. I was going to mention the swiftness of Brain power, but thought better of it.
    Thank you so much.

The Piaggio looks like an Italian B17. Wonder how different the stats would be and how effective they were in action.

    Cards, anyone?
WWII Italian Bombers - Piaggio P.108B
There are two paint schemes in that album for the P.108B

PS: One card is even the same squadron as the model, but my card image is missing the black fuselage band.

Yes, yes, it's immature, but I can't help smiling at the "Can't Float Plane" every time it's mentioned.
