Udet's D VII
The pilot is a small piece of scrap balsa, shaped and painted helmet.
This was a second attempt at building this one. I started one and realized I had sized it wrong. It's a do over!

After looking at it a second time, I feel the cabanes (term & sp?) are too thick. Cutting the wood thinner than this will be a real effort for me...
The Fokker D7 is amazing! I like it very much.
Try to use paper instead of wood and soak it in superglue.
Finally, for durability and to maintain color use a coat of matt varnish acrylic spray.
Some of the details are a little off, but still a god job, Greg.
Thanks for the tips. I'm going to try to still use wood, if I can, because I just like the idea
It is already sprayed with Krylon Matt.
cool,awesome looking D-VII
WOW, I MEAN WOW. I would love to learn to make these paper planes. Is there a place online that gives step by step instructions? Great job y'all.
Try this article: How-To - Card Models
I started with this one. I have also posted a few of my builds, as well. Search for "Zio Prudenzio" to find a few different builds.

Check around this sub-forum, also. I know Kenneth (Zakopious ) is on at least 1 paper model making forum. You might want to PM him for the link(s).

Bad News !
The designer, Zio Prudenzio, died in 2014 and his family took down his website.
It was available on the WayBack Machine for a while but was ruined by robots.txt.
Now, the only way to get them is to ask someone who might have what you want to send you the files.
For "How to instructions" See:

I managed to download a few.
This is a png conversion of one of Zio's planes:
At the time, I was considering making my entire collection from paper, as Wings of War minis were into the expensive after-market gouging prices.
I was also considering modifying the plans in Photoshop, to do up flights of planes, as well.

Greetings paper pilots! I have found these guys to be a great bit of fun when I am traveling, just tuck some card stock, a steel ruler, knife, glue and scissors and you have a model factory at hand! I have a traveling kit ready to go all the time and have instant fun on the road. My last trip to the mountains of north Idaho over Christmas yeilded a great bit of fun with a tiny zeppelin, a famous building and a big monkey . . .
If you are looking for model sources the web is chock full of them, my faves are Fiddlersgreen http://www.fiddlersgreen.net/ and Ecardmodels http://www.ecardmodels.com/ both are very inexpensive and fun to search through. As you download them to your printer you can make them any size you want and print off as many as you want. Both places have several color schemes of each model. Quite fun!
Beautiful paper birds, Dave!
Good News !
The Way Back Machine seems to have the robot.txt problem under control.
You can download the files again.
Get them while you can.
