I am WW1 WoG flier thinking of dabbling in WW2 and have the chance to purchase (cheaply) Fire from the Sky, is it worth it or is it superseded by WoG?

Definitely worth it. It is the only one rules/set that I have and comparing it with the RAP there is only 1 or 2 very minor differences.
Buy it if you can get it for a good price.
Yes because it also has dive-bombers both U.S. and others.
I concur. An excellent buy.

You can always download the WoG WW2 rules from the Ares site if you want them

Ok everyone, the order is in plus 3 "Val" and a Stuka at 5 AUD (Aussie $) each
Nice. I have the same dive bombers and have just ordered 6 skuas to re enact the Konigsberg sinking og April 1940.
Andrew the benefit is the I deck. For the fighter decks see if you can pick up any of the blister packs especially eagles of the Reich and I think the other is aces some thing for the A and B decks.

See you on the Dark Side......
Card packs, Eagles of the Reich give you a variety of ME109s and 3 B maneuver decks, (1 sea, 1 snow, 1 desert) Flying Legends does the same for Spitfires with A decks, Revolution in the Skies gives you Polikarpovs and 2 J decks and one K, Last of the Biplanes gives you 2 L decks and Gladiators and Fiat Cr.42 cards.
Cheers Peter my memory aint as good as what it was.
Watch out for the Zeppelin AAR from Claymore (August 1st). A time to try out your gift!
See you on the Dark Side......
Nice catch there Andrew. Well done.
Bonus!
Well, done, Andrew! Now you need some opposition: Curtiss P-40's, Grumman Wildcats or Hurricanes.
Would you like to write us an After Action Report, Andrew.
