Nice additions to the Airfix range, but around 40 years too late for me!

Two very nice models, but as usual our local games store never stocks the whole WW1 Airfix range of aircraft at the same time. if I had started collecting 30 years ago I would probably have all the ones which preceded these two by now. It was just the same story with the sets of Airfix plastic soldiers. If they had Confederates in stock you had to wait two years for the Union, or vice versa. Not the best marketing strategy in the world! Oh! wait a minute though isn't that just like.................
Maybe they both have the same cash flow and supply problems.

    I remember that!

Bought my "7th Cavalry", and waited years for the Indians!

Bought "French Foreign Legion", and they NEVER stocked the Arab opponents!!!!! I still have "Fort Sahara", but STILL no Arabs!

Whatever you do stay in fort Grant/ Zinderneuf (Please apply as appropriate Tim.) and do not stick you plastic heads above the parapet lads.
