Absolutely timeless film ... When I finally go I am having a copy of this film buried with me!
Boompsy-daisy ... Enough to make you weep!
You can teach ... Monkeys to fly better than that!
Did I? Eeeeeew PLONK! (Well that's a third of a kill then ...)
Before you say anything ... The answer is no!
It's a Squadron Scramble sir ... (Oh don't talk so wet!)
How much longer Ops? The engine is overheating and so am I!

Watching that makes me think I should watch it again
Interesting video, Joaquim. It is from the second channel of Czech Television (see the "2" in the corner) and the music is a soundtrack from Dark Blue World film. Another interesting information is that in Dark Blue World are many many shots from Battle of Britain film (dogfights, Bf.109, etc.).
I masterpiece of a movie!

My dream is to watch a good, historically accurate remake of the movie with all these contemporary digital effects and screenplay. Of course nothing can beat the original, but now we could have almost real Emils and He-111s.
There is a rumor some Polish director is going to make such a movie..."303"or so...

Interestingly I watched BoB again 2 nights ago & it never gets "old" !
So great to see real aircraft & not CGI that is not realistic.
We can never have enough of this kind of film.
I will be looking at it again later.
Always good to see, particularly the Spits over the cliffs at Seven Sisters & Birling Gap near Beachy Head - home turf for me.

Never enough for me, surprised no one has mooted a remake. While we're on the subject anyone heard any more about Peter Jackson's remake of the dambusters?
I've seen this movie so many times that I just can't tell how many. And soon I'll see it again.
Perfect in pair with Midway movie

Not sure my bath tub is big enough!
No fountain on a city square? Yellow ducks can carry the anti-torpedo net...
Would love to see this film produced.
Stephen Fry script would be interesting, to say the least.
P.S. Especially since I have the Dambuster Lanc (and another dozen or so) coming to me from Keith.
Yes, gentlemen, I have started the slippery slide to the next stage of WoG
I don't even have the rule box yet - might have to pick it up this weekend ...
If it's anything like my WWI experience, it will be a year before start the first battle.
Are there solo rules for WWII ?

The Battle of Britain film has one distinction to live down. They did more damage to Duxford while shooting it than the Germans did in the whole war.
But it was worth it Dave.
