A new "ultra light"? Nice one, Karl
sweet!
That will be a nice addition to the WW1 Air Show in October!
Rich
It will be good to see it flying, if someone videos it.
David
When it flies it will be well documented!
Rich
What are they using to power it? And I see that the Fighter Factory has a rodent control system installed

That looks really spiffing!
Any idea who made it?
Karl
You are referring to Miss Spitfire. I cannot say she is the longest serving staff member of the FF. But she was the chief aircraft inspector on my first visit to the FF in 2003! She has a new assistant by the name of Jenny!
Rich
Barry
I will ask that and get back to you!
Rich
A very nifty addition to the collection Rich, and already had its cat scan I see.
Rob.

Rich
Always nice to see an Eindecker! Looking forward to your pics of it flying, Rich - thanks for posting it...
All the best,
Matt
OOh that's nice
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Harry
They want to get in the air for the WW1 air show! You will get your photos!
Rich
It's so great to have someone close to a site like this who takes pictures and shares them with others Thanks a bunch, Rich!
Seeing a flying Eindecker will be a treat - as will seeing all the WWI planes they put up.
All the best,
Matt
Rob
It is a hard job, but somebody has to do it!
Rich
Harry
I consider myself very fortunate. To be this close to a quality aviation museum is wonderful!
Rich
A magnificent project there . Please keep us updated Rich.
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
Yes, look forward to seeing pictures of the Eindecker in flight!
A new shot of the E-3. Plus the Albatross is looking good and a new arrival Should be a great WW1 airshow!
Rich
Ooooh! A Jasta 5 bird - very tasty! These will be so nice in the air, Rich
I look forward to your updates.
All the best,
Matt
That Albatross is awesome. I wonder if I will ever see such an elegant plane in the air!
Thank you for photos, Richard.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Albatros!
What a beauty.
Thanks for the pictures.
Looks like one of Hippel's D.Vas

Great.

She was built in Germany in the 70`s using a Ranger engine. It was on display in one of the UK`s service museums. They now have a brand new build from NZ on display in the UK.
They cranked up the engine after 25 years in the spring. First step in getting in the air!
Rich
Daniel
I am waiting to see it fly myself! Maybe someday one of the new NZ builds will come your way. If not the WW1 airshow is October 3and 4th!

Rob
Yes it is. I will be going out there next Thursday to take a look. They have picked up a 7/8 scale SE5A also. Not so new and they are looking at it`s condition.
Rich
Have a good time then Rich.
Wish I could be with you.
What's the temprature like out there at the moment?

At 1:50 PM they say it is 94 with a 101 heat index at the museum! I always enjoy my trips to the museum!
Rich
Oooooooooooooh, nice Bleriot!
Thanks for the pictures.
Yeow, somehow missed this thread until now. Love them early birds.
Sam
Keep October 3rd and 4th in mind. That is the WW1 airshow at the museum. A great weekend of planes, reenactors and live entertainment.

Yeah, gotta figure out how to do a road trip.
That is really cool! I wish I could have seen it unloaded.
If you are on Facebook take a look. They have assembled and tested the engine on the Bleriot already!
