To my absolute enjoyment, the wife organised a party for the rest of the girls last Saturday but she also invited their hubbies with younglings to the party at our place - just to let them celebrate my happy return from the Feld Hospital (Ufff...). Since three of them were pure newbies (Arek, Kuba and Nikodem - the latter becomes my own boardgaming padawan for the gaming force is very strong in him) I arranged a simple, yet challenging dogfight: 4 youngsters in 4 against 3 adults in 3
I was dare enough to take the famous K, like Kyte Camel promised to take down as many Huns as I can. I forgot we were facing the newbies...
But first meet my reinforced flying circus.
The game started with some bullets buzzing around and laugh...
Which was soon over, when young Lothar took on me with a short, but deadly burst of lead .
This is how the very first player celebrates his luck over a veteran flyer !
Another British veteran pilot, Andrzej, was always eager to help the young ones keeping bases on their places...
But the yellow menace was still in the air to the British squadron's despair... Second Kuba's victory...
Lucky to the very end, the brave green pilot scored two (TWO!!!) kills in one sortie, taking such a little damage! What a debut!
At the end of the day, due to some hard collisions we had (two Fokkers crashed fatally and spralled down to earth) as well, three British and three German fighters were lost with the last Lothar (Kuba) flying!
Great evening it was!
Andy.
