Caught the back end of the film Reach for the Sky - the Douglas Bader story - and in the combat footage shown after he gets his 5 squadron wing I saw this ....



A bf110 with RAF markings & roundels being chased by one one of our fighters !

I also notice Richard Marner (uncredited) as the German Officer in Staff Car when Bader gets caught after escaping the hospital.
Marner is better known as the German Colonel in the sitcom 'Allo 'Allo


May be old hat to some of you but made me wonder if anybody else has a 'Well I never noticed that before' story to share ?

Good catch Dave - my favourite moment was / is in a medieval action pic (it was a while ago, but I think it was El Cid) when I spotted one of the Knights wearing a wrist watch

My dad was very good at spotting chaps wearing the wrong service badges in war movies.
I'm afraid my failing eyesight makes this sort of thing rather difficult.
