    The campsite for our reenactment was the site of an early aviator's demise.


    In the halls museum is a display commemorating the unlucky chap Ltn. Percy Pilcher R.N.

    However here is another shot taken by the intrepid Mrs Kyte of an aircraft turning onto what we all hoped would be a strafing run on this hot air balloon. Unfortunately we were to be disappointed.

    It's in southern Leicestershire just above the Northamptonshire border.
