    Default Feeling a little blue....

Well you know how it is..
a couple of hours on your hands,
time to look through various Aerodrome folders
    and blogs...
There is always something to stimulate the mind
and found a variation of a paint job that I thought
I would try my hand at........

All that remains is to find the illusive transfer(s) for the eagle and fish (?) for the final finish

So who knows where I can find two for the left and right sides of the fuselage?

Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated,

Hope you enjoy the efforts of an amateur painter.

    Thanks

    maverick.......

    LOL,
I think that is one I had designed for playing WoW online (AlbertoVitali for the Wings of War Play by Email) when it was going a few years ago (see my Avatar).
It is actually a Hawk. The insignia on the wing shows it 'in an 'S'' therefore it is my old family crest for Hawkins (Hawk in 's' (get it?)).
And it's NOT a fish but rather a red Fokker triplane being attacked by the Hawk and smoke coming out from the plane.

There are some others in my files section for the planes I flew:

    Nice painting though Simon.

So, I have been known to be "blueish" on occasion, if a person were to do a possible insignia on the side, what would it want to be? I have an art elf on the shelf and a spare Camel as well . . .

    Simon,
If you are looking for the insignia still, I will see if I have a better resolution one for you to use?

Well done, Simon. At last the British have some colorful bird! Those overall green ones were sooo boring...
