Sven's post about SoG made me think about "Winter Is Coming" scenario which gives much more opportunity to the Fin player to score a kill(s) than it gives to Soviet player, thus perhaps giving dis-advantage to Soviet players when it comes to Tournament Points. Bear in mind all Fins are Aces and DON'T RESURRECT (thus giving limited number of TPs to the opponent) , and Soviet all start as Rookies and DO RESURRECT (giving unlimited number of TPs to the opponent).
So, we have two options:
1) To leave it what it is. So 1 kill = 1 Tournament Point, but players are delegated to either side randomly (Life Isn't Fair method).
2) To change Tournament Point scoring system for this particular scenario. Scores rounded to the nearest full number (1.5 is 1 TP, 1.75 is 2 TPs, 2.25 is 2 TPs):
- killing a Rookie 0,75 pts (killing 1 or 2 rookies will score 1 TP, killing 3 will score 2 TPs, killing 4 will score 3 TPs etc.)
- killing "regular" pilot 1 pt
- killing an ace 1,5 pts (killing 1 Ace will score 1 TP - which is most likely to happen - but killing 2 Aces will score 3 TPs etc.),
making TP scoring more fair. If necessary, respective tokens could be given for each kill scored, to make calculation easier.
