My storage solution

As i have more and more airplanes, i've started thinking that there must be other storage solution than foam trays that take too much extra space. I used 4mm plexiglass 19.1x25cm, drilled 2.3mm holes in it, glued in the pegs and populated with aircraft. It can fit 14 fighters and a bomber, however the "upper deck" i am working on now, will fit just 14 maneuver decks/bases, so i removed two fighters and replaced them by one doubleseater.

The whole thing fits in the R&A Pack box.

Worth checking out the storage / display case that Thomas (Thomatchef) brought to Doncaster last year - absolutely brilliant and very portable - got through customers, trains, back packs everything. Similar to this but double decked and everything

Great as a travel set Jan. My similar box fits nicely in my hand luggage for the flight.
I would not let them out of my sight consigned to the baggage hold. Only Customs won' let me take Kyte's Camel on board as they say it's a fire hazard.

Haha, i am working on the upper deck right now. This was originally an idea for our regular WoG Tuesdays, so i can bring over only my top favourite planes in a small package. Also i like the R&A Pack box very much and i wanted to make some use out of it.
