Never been that lucky myself, but have been that unlucky.
I expect that leads to the same as a HOLE IN ONE situation!

Of course, Sven AKA Marechallannes, my wingman, took two boom counters during ORIGINS 2014 game. That is why he proudly bears the "Boom Boom" badge below his nick.

I have asked the Wife (Mazzle) for a rematch to make up for last night ... I'm currently digging out the Kawasaki Ki-61-I-KIAD Hien and trying to hide it up my sleeve as we speak as that particular Fw.190D-9 needs it's prop looking at - possible repair needed after I took it out of the box carelessly last night!

Next Solitaire game I play I have a brilliant crashed Lancaster scenario which I wrote last night: Not a Vulcan in sight and featuring a 3D crashed Lancaster this scenario involves dropping supplies to the surviving crew whilst hopefully fighting off another Fw.190D I am working on in the man cave: A night-fighter variant with the longer antenna to it's credit ...

Interesting; I'm not sure they fielded a NF version of the Dora. The Alpha, sure.

    Cool Thank You Walsall ...

May 23rd 2016 / AMAZING FIND: A thoughtful gesture from the direction of a collectors' shop in Walsall (West Midlands) resulted in the most astounding surprize and a possible record over in Derby for myself today. At a time where prices are concerned it's the ridiculous ones on E-Bay which often make Aerodrome News stories the partly-accidental acquisition of a Bader Edition Hawker Hurricane Mk I (Wings of War) for the sum of £7.50 somewhat bucks that trend!

Richard Seville whose at Derby University for one more year now was the person responsible for this find. He had to return home to Walsall over the weekend and saw the Hawker Hurricane Mk I in the window of a collectors' shop located on Walstead Road. So as this reminded him of me and my Hawker Hurricane repaints he went ahead and paid £7.50 for it. Unaware of just how valuable this aircraft would turn out to be!

Well it's NOT being repainted ... Put it like that! All that this amazing find requires is four altitude pegs but otherwise the plastic packaging is a little sun-yellowed but the cards were still SEALED in the packaging. All antennas are attached correctly and all propeller blades are still there ...

    NICE WORK FELLA!!!

Over in Derby the OFC: Oil Flying Corps are repainting a pair of Hawker Hurricane Mk IIs and currently looking for more ... But I am almost certainly NOT repainting this little gem! Unless something a little more authentic is possible this pair of former Kuznetsov Edition Hawker Hurricanes will be painted into OFC colours which bears the flag and logos of the UAE - with the OFC being founded in Dubai during May 2016.
