Some new La-5`s

I had an update from the Martola model shop. They are listing a New release of 144 scale La-5s. Two La-5, two La-5F and two La-5N.

So I assume I will be seeing these sometime? Just got my order from NWS. Bought 4 more LaGG 3's so now have 2 built and 4 to build. Could be some large Eastern front games in August.

Here are the Stormovik's. After taking the photo I didn't like the green/brown scheme. Looks like my T-34's so I am repainting them.

Looking good! We could do some more East Front Games in August. Between us we have a good collection Russian aircraft! My friend Jim is probably going to the IPMS Nationals in Columbus in August if he does he will keep an eye out for the LA-5`s. That is if i don`t get the urge an order some first.

By Aug should a good Russian force. I have an Osprey book, Shturmovik Units, that talks about their tactics. 1 PO 2 followed by Shturmoviks with fighter escort. One action was a raid on an airfield. I will tell you on Sat of some other ideas I have for a game.
