Enjoy your time-slip!
Just a reminder to the chaps that a few of us are off to Triples shortly so don't expect any PMs or comments to be answered by myself until late Sunday night.

See you tomorrow Wingco.

Enjoy yourself at Triples, Rob! Try not to catch fire.
I will be out of the Office from now until late Sunday night, but will be able to get limited access to the Drome, so have a good weekend chaps, but don't expect too much input from me.
Chris is managing the 100 years thread.

Not injury or similar I hope?
- Neil.
Hope everything's O.K. WingCo.
But the Hanoverians were given a rightful reprimend, were not they?
Hope everything is ok with you, WingCo.

I fear a spot of Montezuma's WingCo?
Nothing that a sniffter or two of G&T wont put right.
See you on the Dark Side......
Thanks for the concern Andy and Neil.
I seem to be recovering now after a good night's sleep.

Well chaps,
here we go again.
Off to do battle with the cursed Recusants.
Will be back on Monday evening by which time I hope to have met up with a few of our fellow pilots who are also members of the Sealed Knot.
Neil knows where the key to the Liqueur Store is.
All I ask of you is that you keep the Aspidistra Flying, which means keeping him away from it.
Kyte.

Have a good time Wingco - though I hate to think about how deep the mud will be wherever you are, given our on-going typical summer weather
No time for losers, 'cause WingCo is Champion - Of the War.
Happy mustering and firing, Rob!

Keep your powder dry WingCo!
Enjoy your bang-stick-fest!

Hope the weather holds out for you Rob. Nothing worse than loosing an action in the wet.
Keep your powder dry

Have a good time, Rob and Eileen!

Aspidistra's away.........sorry no it's the WingCo who's away. Party in the mess tonight then chaps.
See you on the Dark Side......
Gadding went well chaps.
Despite the forecast we had a muster without rain until near the end of the battle yesterday.
Returned home with a wet tent as usual, sore feet and a few aches and strains, but otherwise O.K.
We also won both days, although I don't know how we managed it on the Sunday, with at one time five enemy regiments on to ours surrounding us, and we with only a single gun to support our flank.
All seemed lost as we were gradually surrounded on three side. Suddenly our cavalry arrived from nowhere, swept two enemy units away, and our German Guest Regiment doubled into the gap and hacked down the next regiment.
We then put in a good volley and swept in to finish the job.
A great time and lots of pop in the beer tent that night.
By contrast yesterday was much more sedate, with only one enemy against us.
So now it's back to to old SE5 and a few sorties into the blue.

Sounds like you had a thoroughly good time there Rob , out in the fields and the fresh air fighting the enemy and quaffing the ale .
A much better way to spend the bank holiday than lounging in front of the box watching repeats.
Hope you will be as fit for the upcoming Doncaster week end scrap.

Welcome back WingCo!
Sounds like a great weekend. I miss it; really must try to re-engage next year.
Welcome back Sir! Glad you had good weather for most of the time.
Have always had a high regard for re-enactors and re-enactment events after my Father took me to a few when I was very young. Two of the regular X-Wing players at Galactic Models Gaming Night were also re-enactors or former re-enactors - one guy with a permanent leg injury was forced to give it up.
Time for us all to get back in the air and ensure a full degree of readiness for Doncaster: WGF and WGS. However something unique appeared in the skies of WGS over this last weekend which has been caught on camera in action: The result of two weeks of secretive sub-venture which was supposedly all about dive bombers. Clue: This howler starts with the letter V
I will be off to do battle again this weekend, so the usual strictures apply. Squadron Leader Skafloc knows the drill.
On my return I would like to find the Aspidistra in better fettle than it was this last weekend!

Ok chaps. Seems we have been stood down by GHQ for this weekend. The mess, still in a mess, needs a coat of paint which Flight Leader Hedeby has procurred. So it's all hands to the pumps. Then off to town for a meal and drinkies at Madame La Tours or Fifi la Belles emporiums.
Skaffers.
See you on the Dark Side......
Followed by a trip to Rose Cottage no doubt!
Kyte.

Enjoy your weekend, Winco.
Indeed have a great time Wingco - right chaps, break open the booze and who has the rules for mess rugby... tally ho !!!
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
A round or two of "High Cockalorum", methinks........
Right I'm back chaps,
Just a couple or so questions spring to mind:-
One- Where is the door to the Mess?
Two- Who owns the Horse in the Orderly Room?
And three - Where the devil is my Office?
Kyte.
"Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death."
I suggest you took off the pig face bascinet helmet good Sir and you will find your way with ease .
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
I'm pretty sure he didn't go that far back Might still have power soot in his eyes, though
One- Where is the door to the Mess?: They needed a footbridge to get to the tavern across the stream yonder.
Two- Who owns the Horse in the Orderly Room?: Check it's brand, but probably the farmer across the stream.
And three - Where the devil is my Office?: ummm........... across the stream?
