Default AAR: 3 Games Tonight at Active imagination

Played three pseudo-historical WGS games tonight with 5 of us. Gaming space was a piece of material approx. 4'x3'.

Game 1: An Italian Stuka just finished strafing Stalingrad and is returning home when it gets jumped by a couple ladies in their Yak-1s. A Re.2001 comes to escort the lone Stuka home.
Objective: Stuka has to make it across the game mat.

Game 2: Same as above, but:
    a) in Norway,
    b) three Norwegian Gladiators,
    c) two German Fiat CR.42s, and
    d) Stuka had a stuck fuel pump and could only move at slow speed.

Game 3: Random mash up (dealt out planes to players where they sat) of three Vichy French D.520s against 2 Italian Re.2001s; one of which is the CN version (scary 30mm Mauser!)

    Here's some random pics:

Quite a fracas Allen - things didn't look too good for that Stuka over Norway !

He took some hits, but the Gladiators were lined up too late with their small armament. The Stuka got away, even at slow speed. If they had set up behind him earlier, the story would've ended differently.

Nice to see a few lesser used aircraft in the mix Allen.

Nice action all the way. You don't see too many games with Yaks and 520's.
See you on the Dark Side......

Certainly different Allen. Nice to break the mould from time to time.
