A unique work of Marius Emmerling, born in 1967 in Katowice, Poland, who emigrated to West Germany in 1982. It took him 15 years of studies to collect and analyse German and Polish archives finally leading to write 3 books full of detailed reports of actions over Poland 1939. The books are filled with both sides' after action reports and data. Every fight, every victory and loss are examined with historical approach. I have no idea if these books were published in Germany, but here we are given a detailed story of the first WWII air campaign day by day and unit by unit.
