    Default Visiting Bellagio

    Greetings!

I will be in Bellagio May 19-22 for an international conference. I realize that my free time will limited so I am wondering what are must do activities while in this beautiful location? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

    Hy Scott

What activities do you want to do? Sport, art, turism, aviation?
This is a link to an english language site about Como and suburbs:

If some Italian pilots resident near Como Lake are in contact, please give some more accurate informations to Scott.

    Thanks a lot.

    Carlo,

Thank you for the information. My favorite thing to do when traveling is wander the streets and discover local areas, away from tourists. I have been to Sicily and enjoyed not hearing an American accent for almost three days at one point. I realize Como is more of an international spot but I would still like to know where the locals go. Unfortunately I do not speak Italian so my ability to truly mingle is limited.

I also like cultural locations like museums and aviation.

    Ciao Scott,

if you like wandering in the streets you have to visit the Museum of Navigation Instruments. Not related to aviation but is a great 30 minutes walk from the centre of Bellagio. Nice streets with great view of the small city. I paid a visit there a few years ago and still remember it. There are also a nice villa just near the museum.

Here is the link to other things to do. If you had the time and the weather was fine you should not miss a ferry ride over the lake.

As I prepare to leave on Monday I was thinking about what game related releases are not available in the United States. A game by White Goblin Games, Rattus Cartus just had an expansion called Rattus Cartus Nobilis that is only available in Europe. Are there any shops around the Bellagio area that I can contact to pick up the game while I am there?

    Ciao Scot,

while I am not able to suggest where to buy it in the surroundings of Bellagio, there is this shop here in Tuscany that has the Nobilis expansion.

You might try to contact them and have the game shipped to your hotel. Usually it takes 48 hours to deliver anywhere in Italy.

    Mau,

Thank you for the tip! I placed my order on Wednesday and it arrived on Thursday. I was not certain it would make it, otherwise I would have ordered more games. Having a great time in Italy and feeling sad I need to leave tomorrow...
