    Default Chocks away in Wiltshire

Greetings chaps!! Reporting for duty. My name is Steve and I'm based in North Wiltshire. Long time gamer, mostly miniature gaming, spent ten years with Games Workshop back when it was a fun company to work for. Started playing this when it was Wings of War and there were none of these new fangled shiny planes to move around, no, we had bits of card and we were happy. Always ready to take to the skies and take on the axis.

    Thumbs up

G'day Steve & welcome to the 'drome on behalf of the Pilots who fly in NSW down in Australia.
Interesting you worked for GW way back.
I was a dedicated Sister of Battle, Black Templar & Imperial Guard player back in the "Fun Times" but really got the dirts when the Fantasy guys started rewriting the 40K Codex's & changing the lore.
If I play with other ex 40K fanatics at our games club it usually with the Rule Book back before the 2 last changes.

    Anyway back To WoG!
You will find heaps of great info available here & one of the nicest groups of gamers you could hope to find!

A big welcome to my new wingman on behalf of the rest of the pilots based here in the U.K.
I'm sure that your Squadron Leader Boney10 will take you under his wing.
You have a very inspiring leader in him and one of the chaps who together form the backbone of my Wing.

Welcome aboard good sir. Glad you escaped from the Dark Empire (although I remember when they were a fun independent company rather than an all encompassing, litigious, behemoth...)
The cards were much cheaper but the planes are way more fun....
