    Default New series ideas

I've moved my comments on this topic from the Series 9 thread to start this one.

I seem to have gotten a little carried away...

OK, so one way of narrowing them down would be to put out a seaplane/flying boat set. How about a series with the Short 184, Rumpler 6B1, Hansa-Brandenburg W 12 (or W 19) and W 29, balanced out with Special Packs for the Felixstowe F2A and the Curtiss H12? I guess I'm partial to North Sea actions, as I used to have a Zeppelin and these seaplanes and flying boats for Red Baron that we'd run at conventions.

Then how about another series for late war innovations, featuring the Sopwith Dolphin, and Junkers D I, CL I, and J I?

(Hmm, looks like my lists are a bit heavy with Central Powers planes. I think I just find them a bit more colorful, exotic and obscure...)

So what new series ideas would you like to see?

Why the love for the HB w.12 & W.29. but not the W.18 or CC?

There's some old threads on this. Here's my reply to the "How many new sculpts are left" thread currently on page 3:

Thanks for the link. I guess most of the planes I listed are two-seaters rather than scouts.

For series 10 I would like to see the following

    Entente

Fe2b or BE2c, preferably the Fe for me and Sopwith Pup, I know there are others but these are what I would like to see

    Triple Alliance
    LVG C3 and single seater has to be a Roland D2 ( I just like Roland's ).

I would definitely like to see the previously mentioned planes:

    Felixstowe F.2 and/or Short Type 184 (I just have a thing for flying boats/seaplanes!)
    RAF B.E.2
    Junkers J1 or D1

and I'd also add the Martinsyde G.100 (fairly numerous, served in several roles, a plodding workhorse rather than a stellar performer, particularly suited to long range missions)

I expect the Felixstowe to be a Kickstarter in 2016. Along with the VGO.

An Early set would be my favourite and the Be 2 has to be included soon.

    Maybe a Be 2, a Pup, an Albatros C.I and a Pfalz E I.

    Or how about a pair of French aircraft - A Spad A4 and a Farman 30 or 40 ?

I really would like to see an Austro-Hungarian two-seater, especially Hansa-Brandeburg C.I. or Aviatik B.I, also it would be nice to see Hansa-Brandenburg D.I (KD). And it would be great if there would appear some Czech pilots like Rudolf Holeka or Jindřich Kostrba...

How about an MVR pack with some more of his DR1'paint jobs. He has to be the most famous WW1 ace of all.

i would think that we will see an MVR Albatros DIII in that series reprint that way they release another Red Albatros but maintain the exclusivity/value of the Brumowski model as well as producing another MVR model for the Red Baron enthusiasts!

Still would like to see Fe and a Pup alongside an early war 2 seater maybe a HB for AH or some such, would prefer a Roland D2 to a Fokker, the Fokker D2 apparently was only marginally better than an Eindekker so a Roland was better but even this was not that good or popular... Except maybe with me, I just like Rolands

    Changed my mind:
    Sopwith Pup for sure
FE would rather see the Spad 11/16 the French need a two seat fighter/escort
HB C.I the most produced AH aircraft

Pfalz D.XII 168 a good pick for late war
    Pflaz D.IIIa 166

The Dolphin is a great aircraft to consider. If there was only one British single seater which one would you choose? The Sopwith Pup or Dolphine. I choose the Pup because of it's timeline.

Definitely Dolphin, a very interesting construction and - most of all - used by Polish Air Force in the was against the Soviets in 1920.
