Yep, he's an original Citadel Traveller mini from the early/mid 80s. I could never afford them as a kid, so I bought a boxed set of aliens for no small amount on ebay a few years ago. The irony is that not too long after that RAFM started selling newly cast figures from the same molds, at really affordable prices.
If you ever want to paint some, you can find the entire collection on RAFM's site.

You may call me crazy this month, but following John in his gaming/painting course this month I have started to paint my Mice and Mystics game figurines, which originally came in awful overall "creamy" plastic colour.
Priming with black paint and speedy gray-brown drybrush (a relaxing time) made them look a bit better, but the paintjob is far from over yet

Great game Andy, but totally threw the cat who was sitting on my knee in front of the computer, when i went "Oh look mice". He jumps up on the keyboard and then the top of the computer desk and starts looking behind the screen for the mice. Now he is lying across in front of the screen waiting for one to come out to play.

I know that cat!

I thought you might remember him Andy. Pity I never got the camera out.

Cool minis, Andy. What scale are they?

They look good! Ready for action!

They look very nice, Rob indeed.
And of course you have challenged the other April painters Right today, the first delivery of new to me Magister Militium products took place with reinforcements for both sides in North Africa. The Italians will get a bunch of new streamlined fighters. The last weekend of April awaits .

Finishing a ZVEZDA 1/200 SB-2 and going to do another one tomorrow. Pictures to take and post of the other Russian an German (Ju-52's). Should be done this weekend.
Well that certainly is a first for the Drome Fox.

Cheers Steve.
It's the cards that are slowing down the aircraft painting this month. I have also just done six for my Albacores(not painted yet) and six for the Swordfish I lent to Neil for Origins. Also I'm in process of doing four WS maneuver decks for the Albacores.
hope to get onto my final two JU 88s this coming month.

Finally the PO-2's (Zvezda 1/144)
And a very fine bunch they are too Bob.
Any reason why some of them have been produced as attachments?

Starting to look for a source of B-17s and B-24s... I need a scale small enough to be affordable and displayable in bulk quantities yet big enough to work with for 6" and 12" stripes--this isn't WGS related, but the end goal will be to paint a distinct model for each squadron in VIII Bomber Command.
Thanks Bob.
Those are great as well.
Bet you can't guess which are Kyte's favourites!

Are the C-47s Zvezda repaints? I've been thinking about one or two of 'em when I succumb to the Dark Side...
All the best,
Matt
And of course don't forget Minicraft as a source... gettin' awful pricey though. I remember when the crappy old ex-Crown 1/144 B-17 used to go for $10 or less and fighters of same origin for $5...
For me, sensible things first.
Finish off a BE2c and a Red Eagle HP 0/400
Then move onto a Hansa Brandenburg flying boat for my Austrians
Next is few JU88 and a Do17 for BoB
Then it gets a bit silly, Zombies and Survivors for Zombiecide, brill fun game
Last thing done in April.....I found my workbeach
Now to sorting and the last Origins projects

I tried very hard not to reply to these accusations, no matter how true, to put these things in the freezer, is not a guarantee it will work.
I found the wings a rad too flexible and after thre trips to the freezer and still the wing would not part, I snipped the thing off.
Please bear in mind I do keep a 5lb sledge in the car for any occasion of seeing one of those unmodified pieces of junk, just to help along the re-modelling
